It has been my experience in life that if you keep things simple, they tend to go better.
I have found four basic laws to use when dealing with horses.
1) Pressure and Release; this means with everything
(body language, leading, reining, and leg cues)
2) Make the Right thing easy and the Wrong thing hard.
3) Least amount of effort for the most amount of Work
4) Consistency
These Four things tie together. If used consistently, they make working with horses a simple thing.
